  1. B...'food' contains large amounts of N, in the form of amino acids and protein...N is also a large component of waste..but in a form that plants can use (ammonnium products) so there is a balance b/w plants and animals!!!

B, nitrogen that is breathed is just passes right through, and it could be through water but thats not that practical, nitrogen taken in from food is the best way. the interesting thing is that ingested nitrogen never leaves the body, the only way it can leave is when the carrying organism dies or is eaten
