Does anyone know what animals have good courtship dances to attract their mate.

i have a few but i want to know which ones are the best so i can write my essay on them

I love the bower bird, although most of the courtship ritual surrounds the detailed decoration of the "bower" with colorful flowers, shells, seeds, nuts, rocks, etc. When the female comes to inspect the male's handiwork (beakiwork?) he does a frantic little shaking dance in which he periodically picks up one of the items in his bower to show her.

  4. I would have to say most of the species of Birds of Paradise.  They are only found in Southeast Asia and many have some wild dances.   Check out the video!

  5. Sliders and cooters (terrapins) have a delicate courtship dance. They aren't as exotic as some of the birds but are interesting to watch.

    Another possibility is to describe the human courtship at a singles bar. Not "good" but complicated.
