  2. I don't know, there is too much thinking required to answer your question.  I once saw a race between a Porchse, (sp)  and Cheetah and a Race Horse.  Believe it or not, the horse won, but they think the cars engines scared the Cheetah.

  3. The only one I can answer from memory is man versus cheetah.  The fastest human sprinter can run 28 MPH, where cheetahs can run 70 MPH.  No contest there.  However, the cheetah can only sustain 70 MPH for one minute.

The pronghorn antelope is the fastest long-distance runner. One was followed for 10 miles, and it kept to a steady 41 MPH.

An old cheetah that lost its speed might switch from antelope to humans.

  4. 1) tiger - lion - tiger is larger (and, therefore, stronger)

    2) tiger - wolf - tiger again

    3) wolf - lion - lion

    4) wolf - wild dog - wolf

    5) polar bear - gorilla - polar bear

    6) man vs gorilla & bear - if that man is properly trained, certainly.  However, a gorilla would be exceptionally difficult because they are tremendously more strong than a human, and I would not expect a bare-handed human to defeat a grizzly (brown) or polar bear, but a small black bear could be well within their abilities.

    7) stronger - blue whale (overall), African elephant (on land)

    8) man can beat python

    9) boa vs python - who knows

    10) centipede - tarantula - tarantula are hunters

    11) croc - shark - depends, roughly on the size and location.  Crocs will do well in shallow water or against smaller sharks, sharks will excell in deeper water or if larger.

    12) killer whale vs. great white - tough call, both are at the "top" of the food chain.  I would suspect the killer whales, as they are far more intelligent.

    13) alligator vs. croc - about the same

    14) black mamba vs. mongoose - mongoose

    15) piranha vs. crab - crabs are carrion eaters.  Assuming you are speaking of carnivorous piranha, them.

    16) Bull vs. Rhino - rhinos much larger, much more dangerous horn

    17) elephant vs hippo - no contest, elephant

stingray vs. jellyfish - jellyfish, no contest, much more poisonous, and rays are much more susceptible to jellyfish poison than vis-a-versa

    18) runners - cheetahs reach the highest speeds of any land animal, but man is the fastest distance runner, outrunning even horses over long distances.

    19) hummingbird vs. cheetah

Surprisingly, cheetah's top speed exceeds that of hummingbirds - but hummingbird would definitely outdistance a cheetah

    20) faster than cheetah - nearly all birds

    particularly with a "tail wind"

  5. You're vague on your meaning of "stronger." Is it in pure muscle power or rather who would come out on top in a fight.

If it is the former then all you would have to do is measure muscle mass. If it is the latter then it depends totally on the situation. Most of those match ups are evenly placed so victory would depend on chance rather than actual superiority.

To me it doesn't matter anyway because humans would win anyway because we have guns.

    Tiger is stronger than wolf

    Lion is stronger than wolf

Wolf can be equal or greater strength than wild dog or vice versa

Polar Bear is stronger than Gorilla

I don't know the answer to the world's strongest man beating a gorilla and a bear, [at least not both at the same time]

I heard that a wolverine can attack a bear... as well, I think a pack of wolves could or a pride of lions, a tiger.

The strongest man could take on a python

Boa and Pythons are in the same class of snake -so equal strength

Tarantula is stronger than a centipede

Shark is stronger than a crocodile [depending on the kind of shark.]

I believe that the killer whale is stronger than the great white shark

I'm not sure about the stronger of the two, of the alligator and the crocodile but I believe it's the crocodile

Piranha is stronger than the crab

I think the Bull could beat the Rhino because the Rhino has a hard time turning itself to confront an enemy

Elephant with tusks could charge at the hippo and beat the hippo

A Stingray would beat the jellyfish

Cheetah is fastest mammal on earth, so the cheetah would therefore be faster than man

The bee hummingbird would be faster than the cheetah

I'd say most of the bird species would be faster than a cheetah and cars, trains
