  1. It depends on how old her friends are and if she has a cell phone.I have been to one and it is very easy to get lost.Hope I helped!

  2. let her go?

  3. yes, im an active anime fan, she would be fine, especially if she's with friends

  4. Anime is not dangerous, and im 12 too i love anime! But some anime is not appropriate, but you daughter would be smart enough not to go look around at inappropriate things. So it would be ok,but it depends  on her friend if their trouble makes or their responsible. And she wont get hurt cuz its a group of friends. And if the anime expo is coming to you next year you and her can go both and live the exciting experience.Trust your daughter (:

  5. I'm 27 and I go to these things and no I personally wouldn't let my 12-13 year old daughter run around with her friends by themselves.  Although most people are just there to have a good time and are harmless there are a few weirdos in the bunch who I wouldn't trust to be around kids.

  6. It has been the rule in previous years at Anime Expo that anyone under the age of 13 needs an adult with them in order to pick up their badge or registration. At the very least, if she or one of her friends are under 13, you would need to be there to get them registered.

I attended Anime Expo this past year and was happy to see the number of parents who came with their children or were at least on site (doing something else to give their teen some free space) in case something happened. Anime Expo takes place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Inside and very close to the center, things seemed pretty safe. However, just a few blocks away can be a dangerous place for someone of any age.

  7. I don't suggest you send her alone. There should be a parental figure there at least staying a nearby hotel for a 13 year old girl. You don't need to follow her around, but it would be good if she had some way to contact you, and you should be nearby. Anime Expo is a big place. Easy to get lost, and I know some people like to get drunk of their butt. But from my experiences, I haven't seen any real danger.

But yes, there should at least be a nearby parental figure in case she gets lost, looses something, and whatnot.
