Anime North 2008 cosplay tips!?

Question

Hi, I heard there's a anime convention somewhere in toronto called Anime north sometime in aug this year?

I'm thinking about doing cosplay..

I used to cosplay alot back in Korea and Japen

and also started doing some selling..after my dressing room became half full of costumes-_-;;;

Ever since I came to live in Canada, I only got to

cosplay only during summer when I go back to Korea

for vacation...

but I have heard there are similar events here too

and since I'm not going anywhere this summer, I thought I'd join in

have never been to convention in Canada before @_@

So just wondering how it works here..

Do you just dress up and walk around freely just like

what we do in Korea and Japen?;;

Can you gimme some general sense?

uh...and I really want to get involved in anime-interested communities too does anyone recommand andy internet community space or something where i can involv

yes Anime North takes place here in Toronto every year but not in August. But this year it takes place from May 23-25, 2008. and to cosplay is awesome to do, you can just walk around sure people may stare if your not near the convention which is around pearson airport . but if your close then no people wont be staring unless you have an awesome cosplay. so in words yeah you can Cosplay.
