Question

What anime series or films would you recommend for someone who prefers serious anime themes ? Any and all suggestions are appreciated .

Also , is Berserk and Witch Hunter Robin any good ?

Lastly , any one know how An Chan is doing after their car wreck ?

Hmm... Death note is a good one. Also try Gunslinger girl (one of my favorites), Ergo Proxy, and Tokko. Bleach and Getbackers are kind of serious, but they have a lot of comedic points too. And there's always the good old classic Full Metal Alchemist...

Witch Hunter Robin is really good, I'm watching it right now, and it's a pretty serious anime.  I like it a lot!

And Trinity Blood you may like, it's not really a comedy, it's kind of serious.  There's action, some sci-fi, but the main character can be unintentionally goofy ;)

I've never seen Berserk or Witch Hunter Robin myself, but from what I hear Berserk (the anime) stops in a strange place, so you'll have to read the manga from there, and that Witch Hunter Robin takes a little while to pick up.
