Anita Blake vampire hunter movie?!?

Anita Blake is a character from the Laurell K. Hamilton vampire hunter series i LOVE LOVE LOVE this series i have not gotten a chance to read her other series but i hope their as Good as the anita Blake ones any ideas if there would be a movie?!

There have been rumors but nothing specific.  A couple of years ago it seemed that it was coming to fruition but nothing happened.  On a side note, next month another very popular author of urban fantasy, Charlaine Harris, is having her Southern Vampires series brought to t.v. in the HBO series TrueBlood.

I've been reading Laurell K. Hamilton's books for years now.  There continues to be rumors from readers, but nothing confirmed from the author herself.  Though .. there is a comic book series for Guilty Pleasures that was really good.  Here's her website for all the updated information:  http://www.laurellkhamilton.org/
