Ankle Soreness Help!!?

Just under the bone in my left ankle it gets sore after I play sport/walk for a long time. I have a 100m sprint to compete in on the 27th August. Will my ankle be okay by then? And, What can I do to stop the soreness? I currently put Voltaren on it.

  1. if it has gone on for more than four or five days you should get the pain checked out especially before doing anything that will add additional stress to the area. you might also try a support but long term anti inflammatory cream will damage the skin so it is better to get a professional to look


  2. you can ice for 10 to 15 minutes after you exercise and that should help with inflammation which is likely what's causing you pain....but there could be a lot of things going on here depending on if you're talking about the inside or outside of the ankle..
