Ann summers? 18? why not 16?

i went into ann summers the other day and the women asked me if i had ID to say i was 18, i did not have it on me at the time so i said no, then she asked me to leave

why do you have to be 18 to look a d****s? but 16 to have s*x?

i know its a stupid policy ! but its the law that you cant sell products e.g d****s to any one under 18 (yawn) lol.
