Anna Kournikova quits ’Biggest Loser’ after just one season – Tennis News
Russian ex-tennis player, Anna Kournikova, will not feature in ‘Biggest Loser’ any more. She started working in a show called ‘Biggest Loser’ in its first season but didn’t have a good time there. She had a pretty bad experience
and had to bear a lot of criticism from everyone. She was the successor of Jillian Michaels who was the ex-trainer in the previous seasons of the show.
She was called upon by Bob Harper for joining the show. Her participation in the show was a flop as her charming good looks and fascinating body figure never favoured her participation in the show and astonished her viewers with
that decision. . Kournikova stated at the start of her season that she had a lot more common with obese participants on NBC’s reality weight-loss show but soon she realized that she had nothing common with them.
Anna Kournikova started her career with tennis but soon realized that her destiny was in the glamorous world of media. She struck the headlines when she featured in the video of her boyfriend Enrique Iglesias’s song ‘Escape’. She
has been on the radar of several producers and directors since her first appearance as an actor in her boyfriend’s video.
Biggest Loser commenced well for Kournikova but slowly and gradually she started to have quarrels with the participants and officials of the tournament and once she was seen crying at the stage as well. (Good-natured Joe, for example,
bristled when Kournikova essentially told him to man up and get over some of his issues). So, overall her experience in the first season was pathetic and annoyed her fans across the globe.
Hollywood reporter broke the news of her departure from the show and her off-camera clashes that forced her to make this decision. Joe did praise her for her ultimate weight-loss after her elimination from the show but it probably
was a publicity stunt to keep the truth aside.
She parted with ways in very bad mood and officials as well as Kournikova didn’t hold any press conference after this news erupt on the face of the media at that time but recently Kournikova stepped up and cleared the air with
these words “"I enjoyed my time on the Biggest Loser ranch. Although I will not be returning as a full time trainer on season 13, I will always be a part of The Biggest Loser family and my commitment to bettering lives through health and fitness will continue."
Just one season and it’s all over for Kournikova; only if she had understood the language of her fans she would have known that this show was not made for her.
