Anniversary gifts - advice from the ladies please!?

Ok, so I wanted some advice about an anniversary I'm planning.

She thinks we're just going to out for a meal and then for a few quiet drinks to a local jazz club. However, what I've really got planned is a night out to watch Finding Nemo On Ice! lol Which I know is something she really wants to see, and would much prefer than going to a jazz club, which is more my kind of thing!

Also, I'm planning on sending some expensive flowers to her at work, cos I know she'll be a little embarrassed but also really chuffed about.

Now then, as well as these two things, do I need to buy her a gift? Do the flowers count as a gift, or do I need something else as well?

I'm asking cos once before I'd like cooked her a meal, with wine and candles etc, bought her flowers, AND written her a love poem! lol But because I didn't spend £2 on a card for her, she got upset and cried! lol

Send a card with the flowers for sure.

Maybe just a small token-like gift would be nice - I'm at a loss of what to suggest here haha, but just something not too big and inexpensive - maybe a Nemo toy to remind her of the occasion ^_^

Never ask woman's advice about women.  

Women think they want something and when they get it they change their minds.  Like most women start out as girls wanting the nice guy and find out they really wanted the jerk difficult guy.  

Since you ask girls only I will only say this. Nemo on Ice is NOT a romantic place to go.

yeah you need to get her a gift... women are silly like that, you can take us out to the poshes place but we still expect a gift! get her a necklace?
