Could anyone tell me what the following Annotation means?

212 (small D) (3) (A) Waiver of 212 (A) (2) (A) (1)

As when I originally applied for my visa we were going for a long weekend, but now we have changed our minds and would like to take the children to Disney World for 2/3 weeks. Will this be possible with this visa?

  1. Yes, of course.  You have been granted a visa despite an ineligibility that you probably know about.  The annotation will serve to ease your way through immigration when you arrive in the US - it will tell the admitting officer that the consular officer who issued the visa was aware of the ineligibility, but got permission to issue the visa anyway.  That will probably save you many hours in secondary.

As for the change in your intended length of stay, there is no note in the system regarding what you wrote on your visa application form about how long you were thinking of staying, so a slightly longer stay will not present problems.  Just be frank with the admitting officer, if he or she asks.

Three weeks in Disney World?  Wow!
