Annoying parrot next door?

There is a parrot that lives at my neighbors house... they keep him outside ALL day and he squawks ALL day plus their three yorkies attack the parrot making him louder. It is getting unbearable what should I do?

It would be best to talk to your neighbors about this first, if you can. They may not realize how irritating it is.  If the bird is safe and the little dogs are just running around and barking at the bird, it may just be they are all having fun. If the bird is being threatened by the dogs and the dogs could actually get to the parrot, you might consider the damage a parrot could do with its beak to the dogs if it feels threatened. There may be no danger of attack at all as animals know their limits. Try to understand what is going on before reporting to the owners. If you have never owned birds, it is very different than owning a cat or dog. Best wishes!

You can always call animal control if the dogs are terrorising the bird and the owner does nothing about it. It is very stressign for a bird and it can cause a lot of mental health issues with a bird. If they will not do anything, trying playing a radio with a cd that you like, and after a while he may start singing the songs that you like.. They are not as annoying when they are using words or singing, then when they are just screaching.

Call animal control, that is abusive towards their animals, the parrot shouldn't be out all day and the yorkies shouldn't attack him/her!
