I've been getting an annoying call at all hours of the night. All the phone company says to do is either ignore it or trace the call (a total of 3 times at $3 bucks a trace) and then turn the results over to local law enforcement. If they are able to handle the caller successfully then the phone company will reimburse me the $9 for the traces. If unsuccessful then I am out of the cash. I don't think this is right and its s******g the victim. Does anyone know of a free cell and land line trace that can be done on the internet or by phone that will be viable for the law enforcement to utilize?I think its stupid that the phone company wants to charge to trace the call. I swear, they are the freaking phone company...so they should deal with it. Anyone else agree?
