  1. hey there

install google toolbar as it has a really good popup blocker built in

also install these anti virus programs to get rid of adware and spyware

    http://free.avg.com and http://www.threatfire.com

i use these and firefox mozilla browser and experience very few popups

    hope these tips help

  2. Apple/Mac products are prone to not having any pop-ups. Simple fix, download Safari. It's powered by Apple/Mac and is simple, safer, and in my opinion, easier to use than internet explorer, firefox, etc.

P.S. I love edward cullen, too. ;] Lol.

  3. Check your pop up blocker settings.  Most Internet service providers have a built in pop up blocker.  Also, IE has a built in blocker.

  4. Here are some links to some pop-up blockers:

    http://www.panicware.com/product_psfree....

    Stops scripts and tracking cookies:

    http://www.registry-cleaner.net/pop-up-b...

Also.you'll need this to remove some of the adware currently installed on your computer:

    http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/30...

    Also CCLeaner

    http://www.ccleaner.com/

    And Spybot

After this process, restart your computer.

  5. Your machine is infected. Pop-ups are mostly caused by adware, spyware, and other malicious and unwanted software and using pop-up blocker won't help an infected PC. No single anti-spyware application is perfect so I recommend using at least 2 different programs. Spybot Search & Destroy is one of the best. I also recommend SUPERAntiSpyware. Other free anti-spyware programs would be Adaware, AVG Anti-spyware (formally Ewido), A-squared, Spyware Terminator and SpywareBlaster.

Running these programs in Safe Mode (tap F8 as the computer boots up and choose to boot to safe mode) can be more effective.

If you do not have an updated anti-virus program always running, you need to get one. Install only one, but you can get AVG, Avast! or AntiVir for free.

I strongly recommend using FireFox, it's a far better and safer alternative to Internet Explorer. If you add-on McAfee SiteAdvisor, it will warn you of potentially harmful sites. I also recommend CCleaner which is a free system optimization and privacy tool.

  6. U hav a virus get an AV program or try reformatting ur computer. And avoid going on bad sites.
