They asked for an account number on one of my credit cards. Is this legit. They did list the 4 that I have.

  1. Yes it i legit many times when accessing your credit file online they will have you confirm your idenity by asking questions that YOU should know...and info that is within your credit file....


  2. yes it is - they want to make sure you are the actual person...no someone just trying to get your identity - they may ask serveral questions...

  3. Sure.  This is the way they identify if it's really you because only you would know this number.
