his tank is 130 degrees is that good?

  1. Is it an anole or a gecko?  Either way, that's way too hot, and he'll soon be "baked lizard."

    Strip thermometer and peel & stick meters can be inaccurate up to 20 degrees.  You need either a digital probe thermometer, or an Infrared temperature gun to measure the temps. on the surfaces where the animal resides.

  2. holy **** dude that is way too hot. it needs to be 75-85 and the basking spot should be 80-90. make sure the humidity is up to 70-80%. please always make sure you read about the lizard before you actually buy it...or catch it even though you should never catch a wild animal

  3. That is way too hot.  They need 85-90F.  Use a digital probe thermometer to measure basking temps accurately.
