I am 19 and have come back for the summer from uni and want to be able to drive for july and august. I've had no convictions, just a minor bump which was thrown out for being a fraudulent claim...anyone got any good recommendations?

  1. It never hurts to do a little research.  I would start by comparing quotes online and then calling different insurance companies to see who offers you a good rate for monthly coverage.  I would narrow down your search online before you call anyone though because sitting on the phone can take FOREVER.

  2. Try the post office

  3. cofused.com is the place to go to it will search all insurance companys that will accept you and give you the cheapest quote

  4. You can try this company - http://carquotes.sinfree.net - I personally have their car insurance.

As I know they have cheapest insurance policies for teens and first time drivers.

  5. Use a search engine for quotes, phone up a company and say 'how much?' Then say 'is that the best you can do?' 'online it says £XYZ, can you get to£XYZ?' Don't be afraid to push - never take their first quote, they can always go lower.

  6. Safeway insurance

  7. theres this company called (Ecar) dont no the website sorry however its slightly more money a munth but you dont loose your deposit so and it lets you do munthly covers for as short or as long as you need with having a clean lince you should be fine as my bf has speeding tickets and everything and his isnt too much ,

    good luck xx

  8. Most insurance brokers (Post Office, Swintons etc.) will offer payment by instalments
