The points (2, -2), (-2, -3) and (-4, -1) are three vertices of a parallelogram. Find the coordinates of the fourth vertex. How many different answers does this problem have?

  1. You forgot one: (8, -2)   also:i think its (4, -4)  instead of (4,-5)

    You have 3 points, so you have 3 possible lines you can draw. For every line (2points) you draw, you can draw a diagonal containing the remaining point. Since you have 3 lines, you have 3 possible solutions.

    (8, -2) (0,0) and (4,-5)


  2. Plot those points on a graph and then you need to figure out where to plot the fourth point to make a parallelogram (opposite sides should be parallel from each other and equal lengths).

    For this one the answer would be (0,0) and (4,-5).
