Another 65hp johnson question.?

1972 65hp johnson motor does it require an air filter or do they just assume since your on the water there wont be any dust.

There should be a foam aircleaner under the cover. All boat motors have a foam air cleaner.

No air filter required,  since there is no dust on the water.

yea no air filter because there is no dust or dirt or any other things that you might need a filter for on the water.
