BTW, she is not the doctor that is going to deliver my child, she is a MW at the local health department where I choose to get my prenatal care at! Which I will never do again, lol!

WOW!!  NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU BUT I WOULD BE A LITTLE OPTOMISTIC ABOUT GOING INTO THE LABOR ROOM WITH THIS DR.  AS FOR YOUR QUESTION I THINK THE ONLY WAY FOR THEM TO KNOW WOULD BE FOR YOUR DR OR NURSE TO CHECK YOU.  GOOD LUCK!!!

I know what you mean. I had the sweetest OBGYN but she

had huge hands (I called her man hands lol!) and when you

complain they act like your crazy!!  When my water broke and

I went into the hospital I was already 2 cm dialated and had

no clue. I really don't think there is a way to tell except the

dr. I did start to have a miserable light contraction feeling a

day before and I felt it strong in my back right before my son

was born. I think you are very close. Hang in there. I know how

hard it is!!!! Good Luck :)
