Another Diablo 3 game breaking bug emerges – Video Games Update
Gamers have discovered a ‘God Mode’ exploit in Diablo 3 which pretty much grants the players immunity from death and will lead to further destabilisation of the Real Money Auction House (RMAH) economy if not fixed soon.
Blizzard has been having a really hard time ever since they brought out the RMAH for Diablo 3, where gamers can auction the loot they have found in the game and get paid with real money. It’s a pretty nifty idea but it breaks the game when hackers and cheaters
decide to use exploits and bots to grind for loot faster.
Gamers who have discovered the exploit have posted on the official Diablo 3 forums asking Blizzard to fix the issue as soon as possible. Many gamers are claiming that they plan to exploit the latest God Mode bug until Blizzard is forced to take notice. The
exploit apparently is not working for everyone as many users on the forums have reported it to be a hoax but many more have confirmed it to be working only with the Wizard class.
Gamers are complaining on the forums that the origin of this latest exploit is unknown and are upset that hackers must have been using it for who knows how long. This means that the RMAH economy is in tatters as hackers can get legendary item drops by playing
on the hardest difficulty in the game with the ‘God Mode’ exploit and have the best items for sale on the RMAH for a cheaper price.
Fans are furious over the latest glitch and are demanding that Blizzard take action right away by fixing the exploit and swing the Ban-hammer on those players who have been using it. Many gamers have also shown their dissatisfaction with Blizzard’s inability
to fix the game by stating that they will be leaving Diablo 3 until Blizzard gets rid of the RMAH.
The fact is that the Real Money Auction House was Diablo 3’s real endgame. Blizzard had hoped that the chance to make some money while playing the game would draw players in like moth to a flame but all the hacking and exploits have broken the game’s economy
and gamers, who have already completed the game, feel like there is no point in playing anymore.
