I've been feeling them ever since the first one Friday. It's Monday morning and another small one hit 12:41 A.M.CST! Anyone else feel this one? I know about aftershocks, but this is a little excessive.

  1. I'm in Louisville ,KY  and just felt the quake at approx 1:45 or so Eastern time...  it seemed like maybe 4.0-4.5  ??

Was not a light one ,  I think it is time for a major quake here...  Havent had much around here in years..  Largest quake in recorded US history was New Madrid fault on Mississippi river,  st louis - memphis areas..

  2. I'm on the west coast so of course didn't feel your quake. Just wondering though - has there been anything in your local media about the so-called New Madrid quakes back in the 1800's that were very powerful and persistent? Sure hope that fault(s) isn't getting ready to let go again.

  3. At 12:38 a.m. CDT, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake/aftershock was felt by persons across southern Illinois, southwest Indiana and western Kentucky. It was centered 5 miles northwest of Mount Carmel Illinois.
