Another Electricity Physics Question

If the electric forces is stronger than gravity force, and since we and objects around us are composed of huge numbers of charged particles, why don't we feel huge electrical forces between ourselves and the objects around us?

  1. Unless we are walking bags of plasma, and even then plasma is neutral.  The electrical forces between cat ions and an ions neutralize themselves, so we are just affected by gravity.

    Did you know that gravity, not chemistry is what makes us attract each other?  the closer we get, the more attracted we are. lol.

    Review Newtons universal law of gravity.  The force of gravity is affected by the two masses divided by distance squared.

    If you hit the brick wall, it is Vanderwalls forces that holds the macroparticles together.


  2. Try hitting a brick wall. That's electrical force that keeps you from punching through it. It also keeps you from sinking into the ground. The entire earth's gravity is trying to pull you down, but the electrical force from that tiny patch of ground beneath your feet is enough to overcome it.
