I have had Horus, My leopard gecko for a few months now. I get a few problems now and then. But they are usauly solved. I am thinking of getting another leopard gecko. But this might not be a great idea. I heard that a male Leopard Gecko will fight another male which may cause blood. Horus is a male, adult Leopard gecko. Also if i get a female they will breed to easily and i don't want this. What to do?

  1. i really dont see any way around that.

unless you want to buy two seperate cages.

two male leopard geckos will fight till death.

but with a female they will breed.

  2. You can only get another leopard gecko if you're willing to purchase a second enclosure with all the accessories, even if you were looking to breed them, they would still need to be seperated in time to prevent over breeding. It won't really be possible to house two Leopard geckos together successfully if yours is a male and you do not want to breed. Males will fight, sometimes to the death, they are a highly territiorial species. Leopard Geckos are also solitary creatures by nature, i think it's best to keep your focus on how to make your current geckos life the best you can make it. Try to focus on whats best for the animal.
