Whether they were involved in the disappearence of Maddie or not, they still practised extremely bad parenting. In normal circumstances (Not under the public and media eye) there would be an investigation and their remaining children would probably have been taken away from them, seen to be in danger. Older children have been taken away from parents for much less time left alone, in their own homes.
Does anyone know the real reasons why there wasn't an investigation into their parenting?
