Whether they were involved in the disappearence of Maddie or not, they still practised extremely bad parenting. In normal circumstances (Not under the public and media eye) there would be an investigation and their remaining children would probably have been taken away from them, seen to be in danger. Older children have been taken away from parents for much less time left alone, in their own homes.

Does anyone know the real reasons why there wasn't an investigation into their parenting?

  1. They were met with by counsellors who saw for themselves that they were responsible & loving parents. The terrible decision to leave their babies unattended on holiday was just that a terrible decision...not a reflection of bad parenting. Their children bore no signs of neglect or bad parenting. They are well adjusted & well cared for. It is obvious to any objective eye that the holiday lulled them into a false sense of security which was their undoing.

  2. Like so many things with this pair it remains another unanswered question.

  3. Becuase they don't want to upset them.

Its stupid i would take those twins , they are obviously in danger  if they are wiling to let there child get snatched then go out with friends the next day to play tennis.

  4. There was, and nothing came of it because there was no evidence of bad parenting. What they chose to do that night was a bad decision , one they will forever live with. They had a false sense of security. I don't agree with it, but as parents, I doubt they ever intended to have this happen and I'm sure nobody regrets it more then they do. I wish people would stop pointing fingers, if people can spend their time being the judge and jurry then why not get active and help looking for exploited and missing children!!!

  5. There probably has been and social services appear to think otherwise Hence no charges.
