This just in from Crash_dot_net : http://www.crash.net/motorsport/motogp/news/163812-0/okada_finally_it_is_ready_to_race.html

Okada is back at Mugello after 7 years of just mucking about at HRC back home in Japan.

Taddy will be racing the engine at Mugello, but the Repsol boys will still have standard engines.

Im sure team orders will be set in stone already, as a one off rider could not take points from Dani or Nicky.

Would be great to see this podium.

1st Rossi.

2nd Okada

3rd Lorenzo

Your thoughts please ?

  1. Hi Wiggysan. I just mentioned him in your last question. I think the idea is to test the bike under race conditions, instead of just lapping on its own. but i cant see any reason that either pedrossa or Hayden might end up with the bike come race day. Pedrossa says its to flighty on the throttle response, and he will wait until the bike is ready before he races it. I think he knows the Yamaha boys have the speed advantage and fuel is never a problem for the yam either. I think he might be tempted to use it sooner rather than later.

I dont see Tady being a real threat for the race win even if the bike is faster than the old one of pedossa's.  still, its going to be interesting to see it go down the straight alongside a ducati or the yammies.

  2. Hey Wiggy

I think it's gonna be worth looking at how it lines up against the other bikes as much as the other Honda's, I can't see Okada taking points out of the top of the field, he may not even be able to go the distance on it!!

How excititng is that going to be!!
