Another SERIOUS cat question.

Question

My kitten was just on the bed and all of a sudden, she sled in between two pillows, looked up at the wall and meowed and than ran off. Lol! I'm not sure what she meowed at. Have any ideas?

I assume she was surprised by something. Maybe she saw a bug. Then again, she might have seen nothing. Kittens are naturally playful and do this often.

That is just playfulness.  My cats do that all the time.  Victor will meow and then shoot down the hallway and i'm thinkin what the h**l is wrong with him.  Its quite funny.

She probably saw a shadow, bug or heard something she wasn't used to.

my cats do that when they see a bug or when the air blows thru the vent blows something i cant see..

I personally think cats see outside of the visible light spectrum. Some say that cats are colorblind or see in black and white or something to that effect, but when I hold my cat sometimes his eyes dart all over looking around at nothing I can see. Or when he sits in the corner and just stares at the wall...maybe your cat saw a flash of color outside the visible light spectrum.
