Another Six Flags Question - Please help!?

Question

We're taking my son to Six Flags Great America next week but need to know what day will be the best to go. My husband has to take off work for this so any advice here is much appreciated.

Between Tuesday, Wed. and Thursday - which day is least crowded? If possible, we'd like to avoid Wed. but if this is our absolute best choice then so be it.

Anyone? Thanks!

I think Tuesday would be best because it's given everyone a chance to go home. People might take off Thursday and Friday for vacation.

Well just 1 week ago i went to disneyland with my family and we went on thursday. it was crowded! in your situation its six flags great america. i would pick tuesday. most parents would be working so there would be less people there.

I hate to say it...but I have been told by my friends who work in Great America that the best day to go in is Wednesday!

Any day would be ok- as long as you get there really early.

I have gone on a Sunday Morning before and arrived at opening.

We rode every ride without a long wait!

So the key is to get there early!

I know that Disneyland says that their least busy days are Sunday and Tuesday.  I can't imagine Great America being super crowded during the week.  You might run into day camps, but just ride something else until they move on.  Have Fun!

I have to agree with lots of people who previously posted before me.

Any day during the week is fine, besides Friday. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays generally have the same amount of crowds during the summer because schools out and its just random on how many people are going to visit the park on that given day. Do expect somewhat of a large amount of people in the park though, as it is summer.

If you really want to avoid crowds and just want to the get on the rides, I suggest using a flash pass. It's a device you can buy at the park or online, and use to get on the ride without waiting. You can check out more info on that here: http://www.sixflags.com/greatAmerica/tic...

i think Tuesday because i went to 6 flags yesterday and it was really crowded so you should go on Tuesday

I think Tuesday was is the best.  People will have gone home from the weekend, parents will return to work, and some kids will have gone to camp or work.  From personal experience: I have been on a Tuesday and Wednesday for a two day trip, and Tuesday was way less crowded.

I would say tuesday and make sure you get there early

Either day will be equally busy.  Everyone is out of school so it doesn't matter which day you go.
