Well im currently in yr 9 and planning to leave at the end of year 10 to study real estate at TAFE. All the certificate courses there requuire school certificate which wont be a problem but the main diploma in real estate requires HSC (yr 11 & 12). Is there a way of getting into this without my HSC?

PS: please dont give me the stay in school lecture. My mind is made up.

  1. At the moment im doing a Real Estate (Property) Certificate 3 and i finished year 10 last year, To get a diploma im pretty sure you have to go to year 12 otherwise you can wait untill you are old enough to go for your diploma because you will no longer need year 12 HSC as you will not be classified as a student anymore But you may need the equivilent to year 12 (Maybe certain certificates). You will not have the FULL knowledge that you think you will have after year 10 as Real Estate is not ALL what you think it is, A diploma Will be a pretty hard course and i think you will need to have some experience in Real Estate industry before you go for your diploma anyways, So by the time you are working in the Real Estate industry you will be old enough to go for your diploma. The Real Estate industry will not accept you just to come in as a normal person as they do not have time to train they normally require certificates to start off. You can do a Certificate 3 in Real Estate through TAFE as a Traineeship which you will go to tafe 1-2 times a week and work in the Real Estate industry the other 3-4 days a week.
