Another Vista/Xp Network Problem...?

Question

I recently decided to network my vista and xp machines together and ive done everything correctly, set up lltp on the xp machine, turned password protected sharing off on vista, its a private network, file and printing sharing is enabled on both computers...what else do i need to do?

visability on the network and firewalls windows and others should be down... then they should be on the same workgroup... and it should work

Put them on the same workgroup.  Then restart both systems.
