Another Wii cracked screen. 42 inch

The screen is cracked and there are vertical and horizontal lines. If I can find a used tv without a cracked screen, can I replace the cracked screen myself? I am knowledgable with electronics and can fix most anything.Thanks, MikePS. The TV is only 2 months old and belongs to my brother-in-law. My kid cracked it.
