Question:

Another after baby weight loss question

It's been 1 month since I had my son. I lost the first 15 pounds in the first week but nothing is happening since. I'm up and walking, cleaning the house, doing errands, basically I'm go go go all day every day. I'm eating well but the weight is not budging. My question is, is this normal...my girlfriend only had 5 pounds to lose at 8 weeks postpartum and she gained 35 pounds!!!

Also, I am not able to breast feed and I do realize that makes a difference.

  1. well i breatfed so maybe i had an advantage but i bought myself a excercise bike and every night for at least 3 hours i would cycle on it after i put the baby to bed! I would try get minimum 300 calories burnt off. because i went from being 8st to 10 and a half, and i was depressed. i didnt do a really fast cycle or anything, i took it at my own pace and watched t.v and listened to music whilst i excercised so i enjoyed it really. after about two months i was down to 9 stone. Not what i wanted to be, but soo much better than 10 and a half. x x
