Another baby.?

Question

Ok, so me and my husband have 1 child. She is almost 3. I have cysts on my ovaries, and they will have to be removed soon. I want one more baby, but my husband says no. What should I do? Do I agree with him, or keep bugging him? I know finanially, one child id ideal to have, but I just feel it is a good time for 1 more.

I feel for you - this isn't a simple problem.  You want another baby, have medical issues, and you & your husband are at odds.  There are many aspects to this, including your relationship with your husband.  What is causing him to resist?   What are his concerns?  Do you think a few sessions of martial counseling might help?  Also, do you have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome)? Have you gotten a second opinion about having your ovaries removed?  I looked up some resources - maybe this would be of some help? http://www.pcosupport.org/

Financially, of course, there are things to consider, but perhaps that shouldn't be the major reason.
