Question:

Another binding question?

Okay so I recently purchased a Burton bullet 154W because I have bigger feet and need a wider board. I also bought some Ride RX bindings and when I mounted them, I found that a little bit, maybe a centimeter or two hangs off the heel edge side of the board. Is this bad? I might be able to move it up but then a few centimeters will hang off the toe edge probably. Any suggestion or does it even matter?

  1. have you tried turning your bindings at an angle?

  2. A little bit of overhang is not going you hurt.  You need to ride your setup to find out.  When I first mounting my bindings on my board this season, I thought I had the boot perfectly centered.  When I was making some fast carved turns I would skip out on heelside.  I adjusted the heelcup of the binding toward the toe edge by 5mm and this fixed the problem.  Don't be afraid to experiment.
