"The U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on Friday that schools may not strip-search students for drugs based on an UNVERIFIED TIP, overturning two previous rulings."

  1. Gee, the 9th Circuit overrules precedents? Who'da thunk???

(I'm not saying that the 9th was wrong about the law here, I'm just saying that I'm not surprised that the 9th would overturn precedents.)

  2. The judicial branch is the only part of government left that has any respect for the values this country was founded upon.

  3. I'm down with that. Politicians and judges need to wake up to the fact that 'law enforcement' abuses every right/privilege we're foolish enough to entrust them with.

  4. Next they can remove those pesky metal detectors. We need more Columbines.

  5. I love the judicial system.  Its the only branch of the govt that actually works for the people!

  6. That is true, but that will not stop the police from coming to schools to do a random search with drug dogs.
