Dmitri Radchenko has urged the Moscow-based club to rediscover their old Russian Premier League form after a clumsy start to the season
Former Spartak Moscow player, Dmitri Radchenko, has lamented CSKA Moscow’s below par Russian Premier League run after the Moscow-based club suffered a humiliating 3-1 defeat against Amkar Perm at Zvezda stadium on Saturday.
Though the Armeytsy suffered their first defeat of the ongoing campaign, after claiming a closely contested 1-0 opening day win against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Rostov-c39192 at Luzhniki stadium, Radchenko expressed his disappointment upon the recent results.
The fact that CSKA had never lost against the Dungers since the inception of Russian top division worries Radchenko, who believes that the Russian outfit is struggling to find form this season.
CSKA will play their next league tie against reigning champions, Zenit St. Petersburg at home. Radchenko has urged the Muscovites to alter the situation if they are to reclaim the league title this season.
Commenting on the upcoming match, Radchenko has assured the fans of a quality match between the two teams. Radchenko, meanwhile, warned the Armeytsy against Zenit’s in-form striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Aleksandr-Kerzhakov-c4569.
“CSKA Moscow’s defeat, no doubt, was the main surprise. They does not deserve to lose that game though the Dungers played a beautiful game. CSKA now must try to prepare well for the game with "Zenith", because another defeat for
them would be fatal.” The Russian Cup winner was quoted as saying.
The Russian striker, who had a terrific Euro 2012 campaign, scored 23 goals in 32 league appearances last season. The former Dynamo Moscow man is in decent nick of form of late, having scored in back-to-back matches against Amkar
Perm and Dynamo Moscow respectively.
Radchenko went on to reveal that Domenico Criscito, who joined the Russian outfit last year, is progressing with every game.
“We can see that the guy gave his hundred percent. But if you select someone like Criscito, perhaps there were some complaints in the first game when he made positional errors at times, he managed to score an important goal.” He
said.
