Another dumb question...?

Question

If you were to drop a penny off of the tallest building in the entire world, and had it land on the top of someones head... would it go through his head? or would it bounce off?

It is true in theory that a round object having the mass of a penny and accelerated by gravity could be lethal.  However, the lethality of such a missile would depend on how the penny fell through the air, and what the attitude of the penny was when it hit the head of the hapless victim.  It would also depend on what part of the cranium we struck.

I reckon it would go inside because if its travelling so fast it'll probably chop through the skin since its metal...

A penny dropped from the empire state building will hit the ground at 190 miles per hour. (Just read that on the back of a bathroom door at a science center today, never thought I'd use it, lol.)

Not as fast as a gun, but faster than a fastball. It'd do damage, which is why they don't let you do it.
