Which economic system has the government answering the basic economic questions?

Pure capitalism

Pure socialism

Socialism. In pure capitalism the people and competition drive the entire economic system. In pure socialism the people have some effect, not like in communism, but the government has a large hand in the very large and important economic decisions.

Government intervention in capitalism is restricted because of free market conception of the system. Socialism is mainly based on governing economy through state led institutions. Both approaches have strong flaws and can't be considered as the ideal systems to answer basic economic questions.
