Question:

Another experience?

When I was little, about 6 I woke up from a nap and went to the front window in my house at the time. When I looked out I saw an elderly man, dressed in all blue, with what at the time I thought was a staff or a large walking stick. he was humming or mumbling something I couldn't make out. As a six year old to me there was nothing strange about this man. Until he ascended up words and disappeared. Strangely I really wasn't scared or upset by the experience at all.

Now being much older the "rational" explaination was an over active imagination in a young kid.

On the other hand I also think that what I might have saw was a man how had just died, who was wearing scrubs and the staff was really a pole for an IV.

Any thoughts or experiences you have to share?

How many of you, especially you skeptics who are willing to share, have had a paranormal experience?

  1. I can honestly say I've never had a paranormal experience, and I don't think I even know anybody in real life that claims to have had one.

  2. I saw the ghost of a dog once, though I believe it was a residual thing.  It was still so cool.  I have also seen shadow people in two different places.  One is at the site of a graveyard that was destroyed by a farmer to grow corn.  The other is in a state park that legend says was the sight of an Indian massacre.  (You can see dark shadows peak around the side of trees.)  I heard footsteps a few times.  That is spooky.  I even tried to watch for grass to be crushed like under some ones foot.  Nothing.  Oh, and none of the skeptics will ever admit they had any paranormal experience.  First because they wouldn't see it if it hit them in the head, and second because they just don't believe in it.  Hence the name skeptic.

  3. I have noticed a lot of reported paranormal incidences occur right before, during or right after sleep.  I think our grasp on reality, especially at such a young age, can be tenuous when still sleepy-headed.

I have had many strange dreams, but I have never experienced anything that I would describe as paranormal.
