Another high school question!?

Question

I'm starting high school in like a week and I'm starting to really freak out!

One big question i have is,what are the bus rides like?

people keep on telling me that the druggies sit at the back,and you have to stand up sometimes because the bus is too crowded.is this true?

oh and can you give me some tips on how to make friends the first day and how to stay calm about school!

i get sooo scared the night before!

i know this is a lot but i have a lot of questions!

oh and are high school kids really more mature?

In my area, the druggies just walk to school or go late.  The buses are indeed crowded and you sometimes have to go 4 to a 2 person seat.  Just be yourself, but social at the same time.    

High school kids are a mixed bunch.  Some of the seniors are really nice, while others just laugh as you pass by.  Don't let that phase you.  Juniors are generally nicer.  Sophomores are generally immature.

The bus ride really doesn't matter.

Everyone gets scared about the first day but I promis it isn't bad. I was freaking out too my freshman year, I thought it would be like in the movies and I'd have to sit alone at lunch blahblahblah but its so not like that. Have fun! Go to school events and have a good year.

Make good choices. Hahaha just kidding

lol u don't have 2 freak out. the bus rides are normal. and the whole druggies thing isn't true that's just a bunch of stupid rumors and NO u don't have 2 stand up because its against the law( u must be sitting n the seat at all times ) How to make friends on the first day is really simple. just be yourself, and don't b shy just b normal and make conversation (ex: u c sum1 wearing something u think looks cute so u tell them and ask them where they got it ..... etc.). o and freshman are ALWAYS 100% in-mature, but most upper class-men are mature but it just depends on most peoples personalities. well i hoped i helped u out a lil and don't freak out about school just think of it as another year at school :)

bus rides are like any other bus ride it might be corwed but they wouldnt over flow thgem to make ppl stand up.

just smile and start conversations with ppl. most of them should be your  normal friends anyway

and for the most part no the seniors are the most immature out there they walk around and do what ever they want cause their the oldest.

and therres nothing to be afraid of its  really exciting

i was a high school freshman before and i thought it was scary at first but it actually isnt. you wouldnt know if whose a seniior or a junior. high school kids are the same as kids from any grade. also the bus ride is crowded and you might see people from school. on your first day you should go with a friend.

on my bus, there never were any druggies.

they normally never show up to school lol.

if there are some on your bus-just don't sit by them.

i doubt that you'd have to stand. i'm pretty sure that

in school busses, it is the law that you have to sit.

if there's someone sitting next to you and you don't

know them, just say hi! chances are they want to

meet new people too! another way to make new friends

is to join a club or sport. those are always fun!

freshman year, you really don't see much of a change

maturity wise, in my opinion. but later on in high school,

you will be able to tell.

have fun! high school is a blast and your 4 years fly by!

Yes, the bus stuff is true. Sadly.

Freshman have an easy time making friends, there's going to be a lot of ppl there you can connect with, don't worry.

high school kids aren't really that mature, but with age comes a bit more wisdom, so they can't be more stupid, (although they might act like it)

I think no matter what anybody says the nerves will always be there. Not all of the people in High school are mature. You'll have people you respect and people who are just...well...not respectable.

Depend, what bus your talking about.

For public bus (Metro Bus), it's really uncomfortable for me (especial in the morning). In the morning the bus is really crowed. :o

And yes it's true you have to stand up for most morning bus.

Be yourself, you can make friends by talking to someone in your class. Just introduce yourself and I'm sure you'll make good friends.

No need to freak out about school >_> well a little.

LOL I hope so I'm going to Freshmen in next 2 weeks x33.
