Another kind of Faire?!?

Question

I live in california and I love two kinds of time periond the renaissance (I go to the faires alot) and also the wild west time period (like 18th century or around) but I don't know if there are any faires that are a lot like the ren faire like how you dress up and all that. Well, my quest is if you guys know where any of these western faires and the closest ones to southern california? Thanks
