when parents take responsibility for their wayward kids perhaps then this might stop. Boris can't do much with kids who are h**l bent on killing one another. The government and local councils could make a start by opening up more youth centres, and indeed stop closing the ones already there. And punishment that says to these yobs who do carry knives and guns that its not cool to carry a weapon, and you will go to jail if you do so. There is much people can do, but this government is sitting on its hands and making half arsed laws that have no meaning. I mean what idiot thought of sending the yobs to hospitals to see victims of knife crime and their injuries, that idea must have come out of a cracker. At least someone had the sense to stop that from happening.

Borris cant stop me if I were to go out right now and stab someone to death. Get it. Laws politicians police etc cant stop free will of a person nothing can you can only fix problems from the root and in this case its impossible there is no cause to how from 2006 only 6 teens died to 2007 27 died to only 7 months in to this years its already 21 and none are even related its a sudden outbrake since last year and who has the answer to why no one not even the killers they only have the answer to the individual murder they commited.

I myself am 17 live in east London and have lost 4 friends to murder in the last two years.

One a girl called Danielle died because of her relationship with her boyfriend had problems and her boyfriend killed her. He got 13 years only.

Paul was killed by his own long time friend who till now both their younger sisters are friends. It was over simply reputation his killers were trying to impress their friends and stabbed two boys one of which, Paul died. Most of his killers also got around 13 years

Richie was killed just for being in an argument between his friend and another two men someone pulled a gun out everyone ran but he was fatally shot as he tried to climb a fence and it was all over lyrics that his friend said he lost respect for someone. His killers got 36 years because they were adults

Slinga which I can sadly say is the only murder which makes some sense is that he went to buy bullets for his gun but instead was buying from a friend of his own enemy which they then kidnapped him and shot him. His killers got over 30 years because they were adults yet again

A boy was killed last year a few roads away from my house just for standing in an area they dont like that could easily of been me or anyone I know.

Another boy was killed earlier this year by my local train station just because he was looking at the murders dog in a funny way!

Forget Borris he cant save nothing me I dont even go out no more unless its to college. The only thing which has happened to me is being knocked out in front of a chicken shop simply for being from an area the people didnt like. I am black but I can easily say most of these crazy teenagers are my own race and target other black teenagers the most sad enogh if I were killed it would suddenly be called gang related because im black and my criminal history Boris the government community centres or parents cant stop this c**p I belive nothing can I can say this easily as I know 5 guys convicted of the Paul boy murder all of which I would never of thought would kill yes they possed like they were gangsters but it seems teenagers nowerdays will go far to prove how much of a bad man they are most the time they are not intent on killing but they dont know one stab wound can cut an atery. But then again I say its impossible to stop this because 2 years before all this outbreak me myself when I use to hang around with what you would call a gang we all planed to go to a school where a group of boys who recently beat up my friend we were going to stab them but not to kill just to show them luckly we arrived late and they were gone looking back I know for sure thats how stupid we were and in no way thought they could die and who was mayor then who ever it was we definitely weren't caring. I cant stay it will stop but I just dont wanna know anymore people who get killed Im cerain I wont im now more on Yahoo than outside one thing is to stop labelling us before we act it most people I meet expect me to be dumb ignorant or even illiterate when in fact I am smart

GER C is totally right. Most of the black people in London come from Africa from a violent culture (Somalia, Eritrea, Sudan etc) so I doubt they think twice about it. I have to say that I'm a bit confounded by the attitude some people here have towards Boris.

I mean, if Livingston was still mayor of London I really don't think anyone would be talking about the laws of any jungle but rather putting the man through a grinder of accusations about how weak liberals are and all that nonsense.
