    which was cute because her other grandkids had always called her Grandma. My mum adores it because my daughter said it on her own.

  7. I just called mine Grandma.  She passed away on  Dec. 31, 1991 (missed the new year by a mere 33 minutes) at the age of 84 and after 63 years of marriage (Grandpa preceded her in death by only 1 1/2 months. He was 82).

    If you are looking for a name for grandchildren to call you, you may find that they choose one themselves!  My oldest grandchild tired of calling me Granny 'Roni' and abbreviated it to "Groni"!!
