Another new right for women, but does not include men?

Will the outcome be another reason for employers to hesitate hiring women for higher positions?.

"The court reasoned that, because fertility treatments for women are often more intensive and time-consuming than treatments for men, they may be protected by s*x-bias law."

  1. Well, I think women and men who need that much time off should apply for an unpaid leave of absence under the FMLA.

However, how long does a man need to m********e in a clinic bathroom?

Edit: Excuse me, the children these women are trying to conceive have fathers, which means that for every woman who benefits from this law, there is also a man.

  2. The law should be s*x-blind and both male and female employees should take as long as they need to get it done, assuming they (and the company) can afford the time off. Unpaid leave under FMLA sounds fair.

  3. Look all I can say is it isn't equal since this applies to men.. they can be infertile too. Like I explained in the last question equal rights means that in ANYTHING that is applicable to you, you have a right.

There can be no discretion or discrimination based on circumstances, as Rio says the law should be gender-blind

  4. I honestly agree with you. I feel personally that if a woman is allowed (or granted) paternity leave or time off for procreation, men should be allowed to have the same time off if they have a new born, or is trying to have a family (make it fair across the board). Only thing is, how will this "time off" be regulated? How will employer's ensure that employee's are actually taking the time off needed to "take care of business" or are they just taking time off to "take it easy"? Will it be  harder for each company to keep track of everyone that is claiming to be creating life (both men and women)? Will there be a system in place that tacks the time of each individual who's working to improve their reproduction? And if you think there is a way, how do you feel this new method of accountability should be carried out to ensure that the employee's are not just getting over on the company?

  5. It all seems to be backfiring, equal outcome is a farce.

  6. When feminists want special benefits, all of a sudden they stop using equality and realize that men and women are different.

  7. There are infertility treatments for men? I didn't even know that...

Seriously, a friend of mine triples his sperm count by going to a Slayer concert. Just increase the adrenaline and testosterone...

    Women ARE different from men...
