Another phrase for it's raining cats and dogs?

Instead of "it's raining cats and dogs" I am trying to think of another phrase to use for when it is raining heavily. Anyone have anything?

this is hriable but i got it form a tv show it's raining lama and goats out side LOL sorry that was stupid you can try think animals that r kidna opposite and use that hope it help, but i think not...

It rains in torrents or it was a 'torrential downpour.'

torrents - plural noun

large amounts: torrents of rain

The rain came down/fell in torrents.

Then there is also the old 'CALIFORNIA joke' that is a play on words:

It always rains in Torrance.

(The reference being to the city of Torrance, California.)
