Another poem (not one of my best, but still. please give opinions)?

Turn up the stereo

lock the door.

No one needs to see this misery.

Cry your tears,

scream the pain away.

No one would understand this misery.

Fake a smile,

laugh it off.

No one could take away this misery.

For me it doesn't do much, because the actual theme of the poem is very straightforward, and therefore the artistry would be in the lyrical cadence. However the cadence is not very smooth, and in fact kind of disjointed. Ergo as you say not your best work. You sound like you have talent. Please post some of your better stuff.
