Which kind of co-worker is your least favorite to work with? The one that is incompetant (cooking in high mode at 4am, never adjusts charts) the bossy one that is usually wrong anyway, the one that has been there for 10 years, and tells you it everyday, along with what you are doing wrong, the manager- nuff said, the "wise" one, that seens no point in hustling, cuz their only being paid $$ per hour, the one that ALWAYS sides with the customer, ect. let me know! feel free to make up your own catogory or co-worker.

  1. Someone like you - that doesn't respect management or experienced co-workers.

  2. The one I had the hardest time with was the 10 to 20 year veteran.  I worked my way through college both undergraduate and graduate school by getting a job in fast food.  They are easy to get jobs and easy to drop ones too.  But there was always someone that had been working there for 10 to 20 that had to always be right and got an attitude about me being in school."So you think you are better than us?  Look where all of your education got ya."

Once I graduated and got a good job it took me five years to ever go to a fast food place.

  3. The drunken thief or the letcherous drug addict.

  4. The ones who think they know it all and really don't.

I am dealing with this right now, as I just got promoted to an Assistant Manager, and the others that wanted the job who don't know how to do it are all mad and trying to show the boss they know more.

I have 6 years of managing experience, and they do not...and I work my butt off...even when slow...no breaks, anything.

I refuse to get behind, so when it's slow, I do anything I can to help us stay on top when it's rough.

  5. I used to work with LOUISE.  She had 8 children and her husband had left her.  She was offered many management training and improvement classes and opportunities when I worked for KFC.  The company was very understanding of her position and wanted to have her improve herself and do better.

She would alwayss refuse to do this.  But when anyone younger came in she would make their life h**l.  In fact she was alway talking on the phone with one of the kids while we we working our butts off.

When the manager would get on her case she would call the district  manager and trash us all.  Because she was older and looked so dolled up all the time they believed her.

Years later after I graduated and had a really good job, I ran into KFC to get a bucket of chicken only to hear LOUISE in the back yelling at the poor kid waiting on me. She was even on a cell phone talking now to one of her grand-kids.

This kind of person is in a class all by herself.

  6. the lazy, sloppy ones that make more work...
