Another pokemon firered question?

how do u get to the other regons like the silver gold and crystal versions from the fire red games ive seen it before on my friends game but he would not tell me how and i know becuz i have a crystal game but so does any one know any contributing questions will help

There is no way to go to other regions like Johto in Firered.

Because you can only go to the sevii Islands than besides kanto. In pokemon gold, silver, and crystal, you can go to kanto and johto but that was another story 3 years after what took place in pokemon red and blue. the pokemon firered game took the same story lines like pokemon red and blue but you can go to the sevii islands. Ironic, huh, because in firered, you can't go to johto, but in gold and silver, you can go to kanto and johto.pokemon firered and crystal have different storylines. your friend must be tricking you. he must be tricking you by going to the sevii islands because in the sevii island, you can catch johto pokemon there.

There is no way to get to any other region in Pokemon FireRed or in any other Pokemon game except for Crystal where you can go to Kanto after you defeat the Pokemon League.

There is no way to do that in pokemon Fire red...........but u can go to Seville Islands.

But another funny thing is u can go to Kanto(pokemon fire red or leaf green) from Johto(pokemon Silver, gold, crystal) after beat the Elite 4. U will get S.S.ticket from professor. and u can beat all the gym leaders.

I'm pretty sure there is no way to get to Johto from FireRed version. but you can get to different islands in the game. If you have made it to Cinnabar island then you will gain access to 1,2, and 3 island. and other islands will be able in due time.

EDIT: In Crystal, you were able to get to Kanto. maybe all you saw your friend do was catch Lugia/Ho-oh in FireRed. which is possible through the use of a ticket available from a Nintendo event.
