  1. nope..but i wish I could afford just 2 get away from where I am right now the Stress is killing me

  2. bunk beds. some pop out of the wall.   We just slept and cleaned up there. didnt spend much time in the room.  Oh, and a nice flat screen tv in the corner.  Not a whole lot of extra storage.

  3. that could be a couple of different things, I have been in a stateroom that holds up to 5 and it had 2 upper berths, we only had 4 but they say you can put 1 roll away bed in it. I know there are bigger rooms too, so you should be fine, just keep organized in you unpacking and packing.

also if you have your room number you can go to Carnivals web site and see what your room has and where it is, I pick out my room when I book so I know where we will be and where the rooms with uppers are before I call. Just got the "Fun Ships" then the ship you are on and "Deck plan" from there pick your deck in the pull down menus and have fun exploring before you even get there, I do

  4. I've never been in the suites so maybe they sleep 5-6 people but in the basic balcony or ocean view room they do have three bed but it is a real stretch to think 5-6 people (even children) can sleep in them. They have two twin beds and a convertible sofa bed. The rooms are fairly small with small bathrooms. I took my entire family, 10 people, and we got 5 rooms. You can get adjoining rooms which we did. Good luck on you cruise.

  5. I'm not sure which rooms would sleep 5 or 6 people, but it would almost have to be a suite.  This being the case, it may be cheaper if you were to get 2 adjoining standard cabins, and sleep 3 people in each.

As far as the suites, some have a king size bed, and then a couch that pulls out into a bed.  I'm not sure about arrangements for more than 4 people though.

As a tip, if you have alot of people in one room, remember that you can always go up to the gym to take a shower.  This is especially usefull on formal nights, when it takes a long time to get dressed.  2 can stay in the room, then the others can go to the gym area to shower.  (They are also supposedly better showers)

  6. I couldn't answer the question about 5 to a room, but the room next to us had 2 upper, and 2 lower. However, I have been on 2 Carnival Cruises and just got home 2 days ago from a 12 day eastern Mediterranean cruise. It was the worst I have ever taken. Carnival mis-represented the cruise to us and we got aboard to find many differences in the first cruise than the second. I won't go with them again, try Princess. Heard they were good. But, have fun on your trip and when you get home report back. Anxious to hear about your experience.

  7. I have been in a room with four.  Two adults and two children.  It is crowded.  We had a queen bed with two upper berths that the room steward closed during the day.  Showering was the biggest problem.  You almost have to make an appointment.  But to us, this is minor.  We only use the room for sleeping, showering and dressing.  We have done this before, and we are booked with the same arrangements again in Sept for seven nights. We enjoy the ship activities, dining, and ports of call.  The room is just a place to keep our stuff.

  8. The largest ordinary cabin I seen is four beds (two up and two down) but thats gets real crowded I think. Most cruiselines offer familyrooms for more persons but I dont have any experience with that but unleast it isnt a suite expect it to be real crowded since most cabins are small and that includes small bathrooms. If you can afford it two standard cabins with extra bed is better if you ask me. Johan
